About the role
The Operations & Facilities Coordinator manages and oversees the physical spaces of the Batten School, including overflow, rental, or temporary spaces. They serve as the first point of contact with UVA facilities management, overseeing the work order submission and tracking process as well as triaging and responding to internal service tickets.
Responsibilities
- Develop systems and processes necessary for the definition, planning, execution, monitoring, and control of facility management.
- Attend meetings for ongoing and prospective maintenance.
- Arrange, manage, and maintain relevant relationships.
- Analyze short-term and long-term resource needs and adjust staffing and resources appropriately.
- Ensure completion of deliverables and adherence to timelines, track milestones and timelines, and institute necessary workflow, personnel, and financial resource allocations.
- Collaboratively support school event planning and execution.
- Analyze and resolve issues that have the potential to jeopardize school operations.
- Proactively identify changes in scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with internal and external clients to reassess, renegotiate, and amend scope of work responsibilities, proposals, contracts, and budgets.
- Ensure facilities are equipped with emergency supplies.
- Engage in communication and change management in relation to facility management.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors Degree required.
- Experience: 3+ years of relevant professional experience required.

$50,000 - $55,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience.
