Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Aid in coordinating and executing all home athletic contests and special events.
  • Act as one of the liaisons for game-day operations, including coordination of officials, teams, media, security, parking, and emergency services for specific sports.
  • Learn the processes and set-ups for video boards, scoreboards, game clocks, audio systems, and replay systems.
  • Oversee crowd management, security operations, and emergency preparedness for all events.
  • Host responsibilities for conference and NCAA events.
  • Support external events such as receptions, banquets, camps, and clinics.
  • Complete facility walkthroughs and keep track of maintenance projects.
  • Assist with inventory and organization of team equipment and apparel.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • An interest in athletics, facilities, and/or event management is preferred.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and good communication skills are essential.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary.
  • Responsibility and accountability are key qualities.
  • A willingness to work in various weather conditions is required.
  • The ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and stand for long periods is needed.
  • Some night, holiday, and weekend commitments may be required.

Hours/Benefits

  • This is a part-time position with a salary of $7,000.
  • The start date is August 1st.
  • Tuition remission is available.
  • Benefits are provided for full-time positions.
