Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid in coordinating and executing all home athletic contests and special events.
- Act as one of the liaisons for game-day operations, including coordination of officials, teams, media, security, parking, and emergency services for specific sports.
- Learn the processes and set-ups for video boards, scoreboards, game clocks, audio systems, and replay systems.
- Oversee crowd management, security operations, and emergency preparedness for all events.
- Host responsibilities for conference and NCAA events.
- Support external events such as receptions, banquets, camps, and clinics.
- Complete facility walkthroughs and keep track of maintenance projects.
- Assist with inventory and organization of team equipment and apparel.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- An interest in athletics, facilities, and/or event management is preferred.
- Reliability, punctuality, and good communication skills are essential.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary.
- Responsibility and accountability are key qualities.
- A willingness to work in various weather conditions is required.
- The ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and stand for long periods is needed.
- Some night, holiday, and weekend commitments may be required.
Hours/Benefits
- This is a part-time position with a salary of $7,000.
- The start date is August 1st.
- Tuition remission is available.
- Benefits are provided for full-time positions.
