Operations Director - US Facultative Reinsurance

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Technical Services environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Global Facultative COO to execute the operational strategy for the US business
• Build and implement a scalable operating model for significant business growth
• Align operational priorities with business strategy in partnership with broking leadership
• Provide operational insights and recommendations for strategic decision making
• Define and implement service ownership and performance standards across functions
• Monitor operational performance through KPIs and management reporting
• Act as primary operational escalation point for the US Facultative business

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
• 10+ years of insurance or reinsurance operational experience
• Significant experience within Facultative, Specialty or complex insurance/reinsurance operations
• Proven track record of building, leading and developing operational teams
• Experience implementing operational controls and governance frameworks
• Strong understanding of insurance and reinsurance placement processes

Pay

$200,000 – $250,000 annually
