Reinsurance Operations Representative

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Assist in compiling and organizing data, reports, and documentation to support treaty and facultative reinsurance processes.
• Research and resolve basic reinsurance-related inquiries by actively seeking out information and collaborating with team members.
• Escalate complex issues to senior reinsurance staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including underwriting, claims, operations, and finance to help ensure alignment of reinsurance processes and departmental objectives.
• Assist in communication and coordination of reinsurance schedules and meetings.
• Adhere to established reinsurance guidelines, procedures, and internal controls to support compliance consistency.

Job Requirements

• Associate degree, or minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail with sound decision-making and problem-resolution skills required.
• Ability to build trusting working relationships while delivering high service standards.
