Operations Coordinator - Nursing Administration

About the role
As an Operations Coordinator, your duties will include office activities, supply ordering, and business financial tasks. You will support a primary team of 1 Director, 5 Managers, 1 Supervisor/TC, and 1 Clinical Nurse Specialist, covering ICU, 4B, IMCU, RP, SP, Patient Equipment, IV Team, Wound Care, Nursing Education Services, PCS/Bed Flow, and Dialysis. The role requires exceptional customer service, communication skills, and proficiency in managing supplies and data collection. You will also prepare and process documents, create reports, and maintain office equipment.
Responsibilities
- Support primary leadership team with administrative tasks
- Create tailored reports and emails using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Develop agendas and take minutes for meetings
- Arrange room bookings and catering as needed
- Order supplies and equipment for daily operations and yearly purchasing exercises
- Manage calendars, organize meetings, and schedule appointments
- Participate in projects and division events
- Complete daily payroll duties and biweekly timecard submissions
- Flex hours as necessary to meet operational needs
- Perform additional duties as required
Requirements
- High School Diploma (required)
- Two years of clerical experience (required)
- Two years of office management or secretarial experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with medical terminology (preferred)
Skills
- Strong oral and written communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to operate basic office equipment
