We are seeking a detail-oriented Security Area Specialist with strong leadership, communication, and time management skills to ensure quality, consistency, safety, and exceptional customer service for residents and guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist in covering shifts for vacation, sick time, leave of absence, or last-minute needs.
- Serve a designated region while adhering to company policies across all assigned properties.
- Maintain reliable transportation and mobile communication.
- Wear company-approved attire, uniform, and identification badges at all times while on duty.
- Keep work areas clean and adhere to all safety procedures; report safety issues to the Property Manager immediately.
- Monitor the Fire Alarm panel to ensure normal status and report any troubles in writing to the Property Manager.
- Follow property-specific emergency procedures (e.g., evacuations, medical emergencies, natural disasters).
- Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises and patrol as required.
- Report concerns and utilize radio communications according to property guidelines.
- Prepare and review written documents (e.g., daily logs, inspections, reports).
- Exchange information with team members using two-way or base radios.
- Respond to emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Report all complaints or issues to the Director of Operations.
- Remain on call 24/7 for emergencies, including weekends and holidays.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Florida Security License “D”.
- Two to three years of hospitality security experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Multiple language fluency is desirable.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs.
- Work in upright standing or sitting positions for extended periods.
- Handle, finger, grasp, and lift objects and packages.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Communicate and exchange ideas verbally and in writing.
- Navigate property and buildings quickly and easily.
- Complete required forms and understand multi-building operations.
- Work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Driving is required.

Pay
