Part-Time Operations Specialist

Maintained Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and clean environment.
• Reviews event documents/task lists for area setups/dismantle and completes tasks as instructed.
• Collaborates in the safe and efficient movement of equipment.
• Maintains inventory in designated storage areas.
• Operates material handling equipment as necessary.
• Maintains appropriate stock of supplies and equipment for assigned tasks.
• Cleans up spills, broken items, and debris in the facility as required.
• Cleans and restocks bathroom facilities as required.
• Performs general janitorial functions such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, stripping composite floors, extracting carpet, washing glass/windows/mirrored surfaces, cleaning stainless steel, dusting, replenishing supplies, bailing cardboard, rubbish, and debris removal.
• Attends to and adheres to all policies established by ASM Global in the successful performance of this position.

Qualifications

• One to two years of custodial/janitorial/meeting set experience in hotels, hospitals, offices, or event requisition conversion experience relative to a commercial facility preferred.
• Ability to communicate well with all individuals and work as a team player.
• Must have the ability to become familiar with facility floor plan and operate machinery used by department (such as scrubbers, pallet jack, chair carts, trash compactor, cardboard baler, and vacuum cleaners and extractors).
