Operations Analyst Staff - Level 4
About the Role
You will be the Operations Analyst Staff - Level 4 for the Operations Team, responsible for driving operational excellence across production and manufacturing facilities. This position is located in Greenville, SC and requires U.S. citizenship due to special access requirements.
Engage in matters of national and international importance, modeling and simulating operations using advanced visualization tools, threat models, and command and control models to perform operations analysis and assess mission effectiveness. Provide a quantitative, rational basis for decision-making through logic, scientific disciplines, and techniques such as mathematics, statistics, engineering methods, and operational mathematics.
Responsibilities
- Design and create simulation models that represent manufacturing operations, enabling analysis of multiple future production scenarios.
- Summarize and present findings and recommendations to a broad audience, including senior internal leaders.
- Establish and maintain rate-readiness practices to keep the site prepared for future contracts and operational changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
- 5 years of professional experience with discrete event simulation in support of a manufacturing facility or similar business.
- Experience with discrete event simulation software.
- Knowledge of statistics including distribution-fitting, variability, and statistical significance.
Desired Skills
- Proficiency obtaining and prepping data through database systems, data prep tools, and Excel.
- Experience with Simio.
- Experience with SAP and a Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
- Experience with learning curve theory and future planning for manufacturing operations.
- Experience presenting analytical information to Vice President and Director level internal customers.
- Aircraft production experience.

Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $104,900.00 - $194,700.00
