The impact you’ll make

As a Business Operations Analyst at Lam, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Global Planning & Operations organization. Leveraging strong analytical methodologies, you will provide data-driven insights that enable decision-makers to address gaps, resolve issues, and achieve critical business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate business performance across the Global Planning & Operations organization, assess business processes, and identify root causes of performance challenges.
• Track and report operational performance against targets.
• Lead regular operations reviews to ensure adherence to established KPIs.
• Identify gaps and connect them to systems and processes.
• Assess risks and highlight potential issues.
• Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to leadership.
• Communicate process gaps across local and global teams.
• Drive process improvements across functions.
• Ensure adherence to analytics standards.
• Lead and coordinate complex cross-functional initiatives to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field, with 7 years of experience; or 5 years of experience with a Master's degree; or Ph.D with no experience.
• Seven (7) years of experience in business operations, operational performance management, program management, or a related role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with experience influencing stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced global environment.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.
• Proficient in Microsoft Power BI and other analytics tools.

Work Location

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories:

• On-site Flex: Work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week.
• Virtual Flex: Work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Pay

Salary Range for this position: The salary range is relevant to applicants that reside in California and most states. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from the offered salary due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company-mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
