Operations Analyst II

The Impact You’ll Make This role ensures the accuracy of cost models, provides meaningful insights to support decisions, and strengthens collaboration across Finance and Operations. You will help build clarity around costing and performance trends that inform pricing, budgeting, and operational improvements. This role is not entry-level and is ideal for someone ready to grow in manufacturing finance. What You’ll Do Develop, maintain, and finalize product cost models and respond to ad hoc costing requestsAnalyze cost variances and trends and translate them into clear insightsSupport recurring and ad hoc financial reporting used by plant and business leadersPartner with Operations teams to gather information, validate assumptions, and identify opportunities for improvementSpend approximately 10% of your time on the plant floor to build product and process understandingWork with ERP systems (SAP) and related tools to ensure costing accuracy and data integrityIdentify ways to improve processes, reporting, and decision support What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Agribusiness, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in costing, manufacturing finance, plant accounting, or a similar analytical roleStrong Excel skills including pivot tables and complex formulasExperience building or analyzing cost or pricing modelsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Preferred 5+ years of relevant experienceManufacturing or plant finance experienceSAP or ERP system experience What Will Help You Succeed Curiosity about how products are made and how costs are generatedStrong analytical skills and problem-solving abilityConfidence partnering with operations and influencing decisions using dataAbility to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams Agency Statement Clemens Food Group does not accept unsolicited resumes from search or staffing firms.
