Operations Agent - Ocean Export

Responsibilities

• Cookbook the management of all aspects of ocean export shipments from origin to destination, including booking cargo, preparing documentation, and arranging transportation.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
• Prepare and review export documentation such as bills of lading, certificates of origin, invoices, and packing lists.
• Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely shipment delivery and resolve transit issues.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by monitoring shipment status and providing proactive updates to clients and internal teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of logistics or freight forwarding/logistics experience required.
• Strong understanding of ocean export processes, documentation, and compliance.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay: $22-24 per hour, depending on experience.
