About the role
As an Operations A&E Specialist, you will be at the forefront of innovation and design to create next-generation avionics and electrical builds. Daily tasks will require the use of your related degree to maintain, modify, and create start-to-finish aircraft builds. Activities include wire harness build, modification, and verification; circuit card build and modification for aircraft communication systems and essential bus operations; and high-level software load and manipulation to debug issues and test functionality. All tasks require the highest level of quality to ensure a long-lasting and safe product.
Responsibilities
- Use hand tools such as side cutters and wire strippers for basic fabrication of simple wire harnesses.
- Operate equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and spectrum analyzers for circuit testing.
- Provide feedback to Engineering on parts, assemblies, and installations.
- Perform on-aircraft and component-level troubleshooting, pitot static calibration, and software load.
- Fabricate flight articles with minimal supervision.
- Fabricate non-flight critical test articles and components.
- Work in a team environment to achieve common goals.
- Demonstrate proficiency in several foundational skills.
Requirements
- 2-year related degree or military background and 1 year of related experience.
- Airframe & Power Plant license is preferred.
- IPC-620 training.
- IPC-610 training.
- Ability to work in a group environment.
- Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time.

Pay
Salary Range: USD $24.07/Hr. - USD $36.10/Hr.
