About the role
The Operational Program Director (OPD) will lead and coordinate the programs that serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, medical needs, and/or autism spectrum disorders. This role combines direct care and supervisory responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and coordination of overall programs
- Supervision of staff in the human service field
- Ensuring all direct service shifts are filled by qualified staff
- Occasionally working direct service shifts, but not exceeding 16 hours per week without prior arrangement
- Communicating with supervisors about schedule adjustments if needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field preferred
- Three years’ experience supervising staff in the human service field
- Valid United States Driver’s License with acceptable motor vehicle background check
- Valid liability vehicle insurance with reliable transportation
- Ability to complete personal cares and lift/tranfer
- Ability to transport individuals served in the community
- Good decision-making, time management, and communication skills
- At least 18 years of age, with some programs requiring at least 21 years of age per Minnesota requirements for children foster care licensed programs
Qualifications
- Designated Manager status per 245D licensing requirements in MN
- Valid United States Driver’s License with acceptable motor vehicle background check per Dungarvin, Inc’s policy
- Valid liability vehicle insurance with reliable transportation
- Ability to complete personal cares and lift/tranfer
- Ability to transport individuals served in the community
- Good decision-making, time management, and communication skills

Pay
Starting Salary: $65,000.00 - $66,787.50 annually
Note: Current employees of Dungarvin are not eligible for the sign-on bonus associated with this position.
Schedule
Full-time organizational position (may be part-time within any given home)
Schedule must be flexible to accommodate various program, individual, and staff needs
On-call at all times; unless prior arrangements have been made for someone of comparable authority to receive emergency calls
