About the role
The Operational Program Director (OPD) will lead and coordinate programs serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, medical needs, and/or autism spectrum disorders. This role combines direct care and supervisory responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and coordination of overall programs
- Supervision of staff in the human service field
- Ensuring all direct service shifts are staffed by qualified personnel
- On-call availability to address emergencies
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate program, individual, and staff needs
- Occasionally working direct service shifts, but not exceeding 16 hours per week without prior notification
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field preferred
- Three years’ experience supervising staff in the human service field per 245D Designated Manager qualifications
- Valid United States Driver’s License with acceptable motor vehicle background check
- Valid liability vehicle insurance with reliable transportation
- Able to complete personal cares and lift/tranfer
- Able to transport individuals served in the community
- Good decision-making, time management, and communication skills
- At least 18 years old, with some programs requiring at least 21 years old per MN requirements for children foster care licensed programs

Pay
$65,000.00 - $66,787.50 annually
*Listed salary range is based on experience level and may vary depending on an individual's skills and qualifications.
Schedule
Full-time organizational position (may be part-time within any given home)
Schedule must be flexible to accommodate various program, individual, and staff needs.
On-call availability to address emergencies.
