About the Opportunity

The Operational Excellence Manager role is responsible for leading Lean and cultural transformation initiatives within customers' manufacturing environments. The position combines software implementation with expert coaching to deliver continuous improvement, working closely with shop floor staff and leadership to drive productivity gains and develop client capabilities. This role significantly impacts customer success by facilitating operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage coaching for 5-7 customers simultaneously
  • Train customers on software workflows during multiple 90-day on-site deployments
  • Facilitate shop-floor huddles and daily leadership meetings to enable action cycles
  • Monitor performance data and customer progress throughout deployments
  • Lead process improvement and kaizen activities
  • Provide candid feedback to frontline teams and leadership to promote positive behavior change
  • Facilitate weekly remote customer progress meetings
  • Identify and celebrate key successes with customers
  • Manage project schedules and provide completion assessments
  • Deliver executive overviews and program information
  • Troubleshoot technical issues as needed
  • Support customers in planning next steps in their improvement journey
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Preferred bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • Senior operations leadership experience in manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience in roles such as Operations Manager, Production Supervisor, or Continuous Improvement Manager
  • Proficiency in applying Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to drive results
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple demands in dynamic environments
  • Relationship-building skills with clients and internal teams
  • Competency with MS Office and technical software communication
  • Comfortable learning required software
  • PLC experience is a plus but not required
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
  • Experience coaching business clients desirable

Pay

Base salary range: $125,000 to $150,000 USD annually. Placement within range depends on experience, skills, market, and internal equity. Eligibility for additional performance incentives.
