Operational Accountant 2

Location: Des Moines IA 50266 & Charlotte NC 28262
Duration: 12-month contract
Pay range: $28-$32

Responsibilities

• Create new suppliers and modify existing ones for Ariba and PeopleSoft projects.
• Perform high-level and end-to-end supplier setup and maintenance requests.
• Analyze risks in processes and document procedures and training requirements to strengthen and improve individual and team performance.
• Assist with the uptick created by systems and projects.
• Work independently, act as a self-starter, and require little direction or management oversight.
• Collaborate with peers, managers, internal and external customers, and troubleshoot escalated and complex questions.
• Manage system clean-up projects to maintain a system of record free from errors, such as inactivating unused supplier locations when no longer needed.
• Ensure accuracy in research and successful supplier onboarding.
• Partner with Ariba, supplier key contacts, and various roles across Supply Chain Management (SCM) including Sourcing and Contracts, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Enabling Capabilities, and the Business Group to ensure suppliers are successfully onboarded for Ariba transactions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Ariba and PeopleSoft systems.
• Ability to analyze risks and document procedures and training requirements.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of supplier onboarding processes.
• Understanding of SCM and related roles within the organization.
