Operating Supervisor - Gas Construction

About the role

The Operating Supervisor will be responsible for directing and supervising field forces for the physical installation, removal, repair and replacement of gas mains and services in compliance with operating procedures, environmental laws and Public Service Commission (PSC) guidelines. Ensure the safe, timely and efficient installation, maintenance, repair and inspection of gas mains, services and associated distribution equipment of varying pressure and composition in accordance with operating procedures, engineering plans and requirements of regulatory agencies, including all safety standards set by OSHA and US DOT. This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, schedule, train, and coordinate Company forces and contractor crews
• Ensure required training, operator qualifications, EHS requirements, and documented OJTs are completed
• Conduct and review daily job briefings, safety discussions, and critical task observations
