You will function as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and member of the surgical team. You will assist in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the Operating Room.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the Operating Room.
- Function as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and member of the surgical team.
Requirements
- Prior experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care setting.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the Association of Surgical Technologists or Surgical Technician by the National Board of Surgical Technician and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- Completion of a certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician or comparable training program or experience as an O.R. Technician/Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
- A high school diploma or GED.
Qualifications
- Must supply exam date prior to start of employment and complete a probationary period of six (6) months from date of hire.

Schedule
Part time, night shift covering the hours of 11:00pm – 11:00am at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital located in Bronxville; right across from the Metro North Station.
