Operating Room Scheduler
Position Overview
Under the direction of the medical providers, this position’s primary function is to schedule surgical procedures. The responsibilities of the Surgical Scheduler include: scheduling surgical procedures in ORSOS, scheduling all pre- and post-operative appointments and obtaining authorization. The Surgical Scheduler works closely with the clinical team, medical providers and hospital staff to provide timely care for our patients.

Compensation Range
$17.98 - $25.17 per hour, depending on experience
Education/Experience
- Minimum Required: High School Graduate or equivalent
- Two (2) years' experience working in healthcare
- Two (2) years' experience working in customer service
- Proficient PC skills
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
Preferred
- AAS in an accredited MOA program or equivalent
- Knowledge of insurance referral process
- Basic computer skills; HER, Excel, Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in OR Scheduling
Licenses/Certifications
- Current drivers license
