About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Pediatrics and Operating Room (OR) for a PRN role in a pediatric acute care hospital.
Responsibilities
- Providing nursing care to pediatric patients during surgery
- Performing assessments
- Assisting physicians to ensure patient safety and continuity of care between the OR and patient care units
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years OR (Peds) experience
- Ohio RN license
- BSN or in progress
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS; PALS preferred
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- CNOR certification and pediatric or reconstructive surgery experience are advantageous
