Operating Room RN - PRN

The role involves providing pediatric perioperative nursing care in a hospital setting, primarily within the Operating Room (OR). Responsibilities include performing patient assessments, implementing interventions to ensure safety during surgery, assisting physicians with care plans, and maintaining continuity of care between the OR and patient care units. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of OR experience in pediatrics, hold an Ohio RN license, and possess a BSN or be pursuing one. Strong patient assessment, critical thinking, and certifications such as BLS and ACLS are required; PALS is preferred. Additional desirable qualifications include CNOR certification and experience in pediatric acute care or reconstructive surgery.
