Operating Room RN - PRN

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specialized in Pediatrics for an Operating Room (OR) setting in a pediatric acute care hospital. In this PRN role, you will provide nursing care to pediatric patients during surgery, performing assessments and interventions to ensure patient safety. You will assist physicians in executing care plans and maintain continuity between the OR and patient care units. Key responsibilities include patient assessments, supporting surgical procedures, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years OR experience in pediatricsOhio RN licenseBSN degree or in progressCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationsAmerican Heart Association certificationStrong patient assessment and critical thinking skillsCNOR certification and pediatric care experience are highly preferredMust pass background screening and onboarding requirements Ideal candidates may also have experience in pediatric plastic reconstructive surgery and laser treatments.
