Operating Room RN - PRN

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care in a pediatric acute care hospital. Join a team focused on providing high-quality pediatric surgical care, with the opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Performing patient assessments
• Implementing interventions to ensure safety during surgery
• Assisting physicians with patient care plans
• Maintaining continuity of care between the operating room and patient care units

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience in pediatrics
• Active Ohio RN license
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to pass background checks and meet onboarding requirements

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• PALS preferred
• BSN (or in progress)
• CNOR certification
• Pediatric surgical experience
