Operating Room RN - PRN

About the role

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a Pediatric Operating Room (OR) role in a pediatric acute care hospital. This opportunity is ideal for nurses passionate about pediatric surgery and seeking flexible, rewarding work in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing nursing care to pediatric patients during surgery
• Performing assessments
• Implementing interventions to ensure patient safety
• Collaborating with physicians to execute the care plan
• Maintaining continuity between the operating room and patient care units

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience in pediatrics
• Ohio RN license
• BSN degree or in progress
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification (preferred)

Skills

• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking
• CNOR certification (highly valued)
• Experience in pediatric acute care, reconstructive surgery, or laser procedures (highly valued)
