About the role
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specialized in pediatric OR care for a PRN position in a pediatric acute care hospital.
Responsibilities
- Providing nursing care to pediatric patients during surgery
- Performing assessments
- Implementing interventions to ensure safety
- Assisting physicians
- Maintaining continuity of care between units and the OR
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years OR (Peds) RN experience
- Ohio RN license
- BSN or in progress
- Certifications such as BLS and ACLS
- PALS and CNOR are preferred
- Pediatric, reconstructive surgery, or laser experience
Skills
- Strong patient assessment
- Critical thinking
- Ability to pass background checks
- Ability to pass onboarding requirements
