Operating Room RN - PRN

About the role

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specialized in pediatrics for an OR (Peds) unit within a pediatric acute care hospital. This PRN role offers W2 employment status.

Responsibilities

• Providing nursing care to pediatric patients during surgery
• Performing assessments and interventions to ensure patient safety
• Collaborating with physicians to implement care plans
• Maintaining continuity between the operating room and patient care units

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience in pediatrics
• Ohio RN license
• BSN degree or in progress
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS
• CNOR certification and experience in pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery, or laser procedures are highly preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Must pass background checks
