About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Pediatrics and OR (Peds) for a pediatric acute care hospital. In this PRN role, you will provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room, performing assessments and interventions to ensure patient safety during surgery. You will assist physicians in implementing care plans and ensure continuity of care between the OR and patient care units.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in OR (Peds)
- Ohio RN license
- BSN degree or in progress
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Must have American Heart Association certification
- CNOR preferred
- Pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery, and laser experience a plus
Key Duties
- Providing safe, effective perioperative nursing care
- Assisting with surgical procedures
- Collaborating with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
