About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Pediatrics for a perioperative role in a pediatric acute care hospital.
Responsibilities
- Providing nursing care within the operating room
- Performing patient assessments
- Implementing interventions to ensure patient safety during surgery
- Assisting physicians in executing the plan of care
- Maintaining continuity between the operating room and the patient care unit
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years OR (Peds) experience
- Ohio RN license
- BSN degree or in progress
- American Heart Association certifications such as BLS and ACLS
Skills
- CNOR certification
- Experience in pediatric acute care
- Experience in plastic reconstructive surgery
- Experience in laser procedures
