Full-time Registered Nurse position in the Operating Room with a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Perform a variety of tasks, requiring creativity and latitude.
• Take weekend calls.
• Must be able to scrub and circulate.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing.
• Certified as a registered nurse.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• One year of operating room and/or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN License.
• ACLS certification.
