Operating Room Orderly

About the role

Reno Orthopedic Center is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated team member to join their Operating Room Orderly team. The position is based at the Main location at 555 N Arlington Ave.

Responsibilities

• Aid in transferring patients between beds, stretchers, and operating room tables.
• Assist with operating room turnovers, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, and gathering linens and surgical equipment.
• Scrub into total joint surgeries and hold limbs as needed.
• Ensure the operating room is properly stocked with materials and equipment.
• Organize and stock equipment rooms.
• Support central sterile processing tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• BLS Certification (preferred)
• Experience as a Nursing Assistant or Orderly (preferred)
