Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Performs circulating functions before, during, and after surgery, including environment preparation, patient assessment, and review of medical records.
• Ensures safety protocols and documentation are maintained at all times.
• Performs scrub functions, handling instruments, supplies, and surgical counts.
• Maintains sterile fields and monitors patient condition, documenting interventions in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Valid RN licensure and BLS certification required; CNOR preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months OR nursing experience or completion of a fellowship.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
