Operating Room Nurse

About the Role

Provides professional nursing care in the Main OR, utilizing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure patient well-being. Supervises care delivery, delegates tasks, and educates patients and families. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

Responsibilities

• Supports patient comfort and safety
• Participates in mentorship and clinical education
• Maintains accurate documentation
• For new-to-OR nurses: participates in scheduled cohorts
• For experienced nurses: works shifts with call duties

Requirements

• One year of RN experience
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred)
• Current RN license (eNLC license may be required)
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification

Preferred Qualifications

• OR experience
• Specialty certifications
