About the role

Provide professional nursing care in the Main OR unit, utilizing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure patient comfort and well-being. Supervise and delegate care, implement medically prescribed interventions, and educate patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing care delivery
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Supervise and delegate care to staff
• Implement medically prescribed interventions
• Support new OR nurses through scheduled cohorts

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred)
• Current RN licensure
• BLS certification
• Specialty certification preferred
