About the Role
Provide professional nursing care in a hospital operating room setting. This role involves leading and delivering patient care using the nursing process, delegating and supervising care, implementing medical interventions, and educating patients and families.
Unit: Main OR. Training is available for nurses without prior OR experience. Experienced nurses will work an 11am-9pm shift with call responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver patient care using the nursing process
- Delegate and supervise care provided by other team members
- Implement medical interventions as required
- Educate patients and families
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of RN experience
- Associates Degree in Nursing (Master's preferred)
- Current RN licensure
- BLS certification
- Specialty certifications (optional)
