Operating Room Manager
About the role
USPI Northwest Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Operating Room Manager to join our team, conveniently located on the Ascension Seton Northwest Hospital campus. We have 7 OR rooms and 1 Procedure room, and perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Podiatry, and Urology.
The position requires weekdays only, with no holidays, weekends, or call, although some early mornings and later evenings may be required, and the schedule is subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.
Responsibilities
The OR Manager is responsible for all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision, and facility goals, including identifying cost-effective systems, establishing effective working relationships, and overseeing surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processing services. The Manager may also assist as RN Circulator and Scrub Tech as necessary.
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing
- Baccalaureate degree preferred
- Five (5) years’ experience in surgery as circulator
- Two (2) years’ experience in surgery management, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care
- Current Texas RN License
- BLS and CNOR preferred
