About the role

The University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) is seeking an additional clinical radiologist to join our team as a faculty member. This position is a flexible, benefits eligible appointment, ranging from 51-100%. This flexibility allows ample free time for teleradiology/consulting opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Primary duties include case interpretation/consultation on the clinic floor and teaching of the department’s clinical year students and house officers.
  • Didactic teaching and research are not required but can be pursued, if interested.
  • After hours emergency call is not required.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate must have a DVM degree or equivalent and have achieved ACVR board certification or completed residency training with credentials accepted by ACVR.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with ACVR certification and an interest in teaching.

Salary

The wage for this position is $210,000. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including equivalent years in rank, training, and field or discipline; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable positions.
