Job Overview
Responsibilities
Candidates teach and provide leadership across undergraduate and/or graduate nursing programs, with assignments based on program needs and the candidate's qualifications, experience, and areas of expertise.
Essential Functions
- Conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars.
- Attend meetings, participate in governance, prepare materials for teaching.
- Evaluate related work for students and may serve as an academic adviser.
- Serve on college or university committees.
- Participate in curriculum development activities.
- Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities.
- Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.
Required Education
- Master’s degree in Nursing or a Nursing doctorate degree from an accredited college of university.
Required Trainings/Certifications
- Active, unrestricted Ohio or multi-state registered nurse license, or eligibility to obtain the required license.
Required Experience
- A minimum of five years of nursing practice experience.
- A minimum of two years of nursing education experience.
