The University of Mississippi Medical Center seeks an Open Rank Faculty Physician in the Department of Medicine - Rheumatology. Located in Jackson, MS, UMMC is the state's only academic health science center with a mission to improve the lives of Mississippians through education, research, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to patients with rheumatic diseases
• Conduct research in rheumatology
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Participate in departmental and institutional committees

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Rheumatology
• Current Mississippi Medical License

Qualifications

• Experience in rheumatology
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
