About the role

The University of Mississippi Medical Center seeks an Open Rank Faculty Physician - SOM Medicine - Oncology. Located in Jackson, MS, UMMC is the state's only academic health science center with a mission to improve the lives of Mississippians through education, research, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical practice in oncology
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Participate in research related to oncology
• Provide leadership in the department and institution

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Internal Medicine and/or Hematology/Oncology
• Current medical license in the state of Mississippi
