Position Summary
This posting is for two positions. All applicants will be considered for both positions. The Division of Cardiology seeks an Open Rank, Fixed-Term, Tenure or Tenure Track or Variable Track Faculty appointment as a General Cardiologist. The position will be full-time clinical, with responsibilities including outpatient cardiology care, attending on inpatient units or consult services, and teaching of cardiovascular fellows, residents, and medical students. The position rank and track (fixed term vs. tenure track vs. variable track) will depend on the applicant's qualifications and experience.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- MD Degree
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
- A successful candidate must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) and Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- An interest and expertise in preventive cardiology, cardiovascular genetics, cardio-obstetrics, cardiac MRI, or cardio-oncology are desirable.
- A track record in cardiovascular research is preferred.
