About the role
The Department of Radiation Oncology of the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking a full-time radiation oncologist to work within the University of Colorado Health System, with the primary sites of practice at Memorial Health Central and Memorial Health North in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Primary clinical focus on breast cancer, with expertise in gynecological cancer patients preferred.
- Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards and clinical research as a member of the University of Colorado Cancer Center.
- Completion of an accredited residency in radiation oncology and ABR Board Certification.
- Ability to obtain licensure for the practice of medicine within the State of Colorado, prescriptive authority, and privileges at participating hospitals.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited radiation oncology residency and ABR Board Eligibility at the date of hire for Assistant Professor.
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited radiation oncology residency and ABR Board Certification for Associate Professor.
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited radiation oncology residency program and ABR Board Certification for Professor.
- 5+ years of post-residency clinical experience for Associate Professor.
- 7 years of post-residency clinical experience for Professor.
- Post-residency clinical experience at an academic medical center.
- Experience in treating breast and gynecologic malignancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include successful completion of an ACGME-accredited radiation oncology residency and ABR Board Eligibility or Certification at the date of hire.
- Preferred qualifications include post-residency clinical experience at an academic medical center and experience in treating breast and gynecologic malignancies.

Pay
Hiring Range: Assistant Professor: $350,000 to $465,000
Associate Professor: $385,000 to $495,000
Professor: $425,000 to $537,000
