About the role

SA Hospitality Group is seeking culinary talent passionate about hospitality, with a strong affinity for high-quality Italian cuisine, and ready to thrive in a dynamic work environment. The company is looking for strong back-of-house individuals who are open to working at any of their restaurant locations across their 3 brands.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and food safety guidelines
  • Assist in menu development and innovation
  • Manage kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with front-of-house team to enhance dining experiences

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a professional kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and tools
  • Passion for hospitality and customer service

Qualifications

  • Valid Food Handler Certification
  • Experience with Italian ingredients and cooking methods
  • Knowledge of Italian culture and traditions

Pay

  • Executive Chef: $100-$150k
  • Chef de Cuisine: $80-$100k
  • Sous Chef: $70-$90k
  • Line Cook: $17-$27/hr
  • Prep Cook: $17-$20/hr
  • Salad Cook: $17-$23/hr
  • Pastry Cook: $17-$24/hr
  • Dishwasher: $17-$18/hr

Schedule

Where Casa Lever is located at 390 Park Ave at, E 53rd St, New York, NY 10022, an In-Person Open Call is scheduled for Tuesday, July 14th from 2:30pm – 4pm. Please let the host know you are there for the culinary open call upon arrival.
