Onsite Technician (RF/Systems)
About the role
We are looking for an Onsite Technician (RF/Systems) in the Chicago, IL area who has a strong desire to resolve technical issues, is flexible, learns quickly, and can work independently while providing support and guidance to our customer base on SONIFI products. This role is dedicated to supporting a specific healthcare system across multiple hospital locations within the region.
Responsibilities
- Supporting a specific healthcare system across multiple hospital locations within your assigned region.
- Providing technical support and guidance to our customer base on SONIFI products.
- Communicating thoughtfully and professionally with the staff at our hospitality customers.
- Building relationships with a variety of on-site stakeholders across multiple locations.
Requirements
- A technical degree plus one year of related experience in any of the following areas OR a high school diploma or GED plus three years' work experience.
- Experience in any of the following areas: High Speed Internet and WIFI, Satellite TV, Digital TV, IPTV, Telecom, RF, CATV, MATV, and Head end.
- A valid driver’s license and safe driving habits to drive a company vehicle.
- Participation in an on-call rotation and occasional overtime and weekend work to accommodate service level agreements.
- To be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and requests from our customers.
Qualifications
No desk here! Your day will be spent supporting our customers across multiple hospital sites within your assigned region. We will supply you with the tools needed for success: a company vehicle, tools, cell phone, laptop, and technical support.

SONIFI offers a competitive salary for this role based on a variety of factors including location, experience, education, specialty, and training. This position is also eligible for PTO, holidays, health, dental, vision, retirement plan, pet insurance, on-demand pay, and a variety of other benefits. Generally starting at $26 to $34 per hour. The pay of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, experience, education, specialty, and training.

Schedule
This role supports multiple hospital locations within the Chicago area, requiring regular local travel between sites. Participation in an on call rotation is required, along with occasional overtime and weekend work to accommodate service level agreements.
