Onsite Program Manager

About the role
You will provide on-site program management by identifying, implementing, and maintaining waste reduction, segregation, and reuse programs for customers. You will work closely with the customer’s Environmental Department to ensure health and safety, improve waste management procedures, and manage recycling programs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Conduct daily site inspections and weekly RCRA inspections.
- Work with customers and vendors to implement improved waste management procedures.
- Manage recycling programs and the 90-day accumulation building.
- Schedule all waste shipments, including recycling materials.
- Manage all document tracking, including reports to the Environmental Department.
- Oversee supplier subcontractors working on behalf of Envita Solutions.
- Meet with supplier partners to discuss disposal opportunities, negotiate pricing, and review current approvals.
- Prepare monthly waste activity reports for clients as requested.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including growing in alignment with the company’s core values, competencies, and skills.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in the waste management industry (5+ years preferred).
- Experience balancing and delivering multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Skills
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to foster lasting relationships with clients and supplier partners, both in-person and remotely.
- Ability to solve problems and provide solutions with limited direction.
- Ability to write business proposals.
- Ability to develop a sound knowledge and understanding of various federal, state, and local industry-related regulations.
Pay
The anticipated hiring compensation range for this role is $65,000.00 - $115,000.00, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
