This position is contingent on a contract award. Onsite EAP Consultant - St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling services related to workplace and career concerns, emotional and mental health, relationship and family issues, work‑life balance, and health and wellness.
• Conduct substance use screenings and coordinate appropriate treatment referrals.
• Provide direct support to organizations and employees through assessment, consultation, education, and triage services.
• Use knowledge of federal regulations to assist organizations in handling employee concerns and problems.
• Consult with employees and organizations on various workplace and work‑based issues.
• Provide clinical expertise to restore employees with diminished performance to healthy functioning.
• Provide employee and management consultation related to specific personal problems and workplace/management problems and concerns.
• Conduct critical incident response services, EAP assessment and short‑term counseling, EAP orientations, customer webinars, critical incident response, and health and wellness trainings.
• Manage caseload and other tasks, including timely case documentation to meet quality, qualitative, and quantitative performance expectations.
• Provide information and referral to appropriate level of care and to community resources as appropriate.
• Participate in activities that help improve SBU and/or client performance, excellence, and culture.
• Assume responsibility for identifying individual and/or team operational challenges and inefficiencies and recommend continuous improvement plans to support department and company mission.
• Analyze and present issues clearly, concisely, and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
