Job Summary
Aids the department manager in achieving sales and operational goals for in-store online operations by accurately selecting, scanning, and staging online orders according to Amazon's standards. Ensures a seamless and timely order selection and staging process, maintains inventory accuracy, and enhances customer satisfaction through quality, freshness, and service standards.
Responsibilities
- % Of Time:
- Service: Accurately selects, scans, and stages online orders using handheld devices, ensuring product quality, freshness, and order completeness. Follows substitution guidelines and freshness standards to provide a positive customer experience, addressing issues promptly.
- Leadership: Promotes trust and respect among associates by collaborating, fostering teamwork, and disseminating company, department, and job-specific information. Adheres to all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.
- Financial: Supports performance standards by maintaining key operational metrics, including: INF Rate (≤ 4%), Substitution Attempt Rate (≥ 95%), Late Slam Rate (≤ 5%), Confirmed vs Requested Rate (≥ 95%), Available vs Confirmed Rate (≥ 95%), Item Missing Rate (≤ 1.5%), Item Quality Rate (≤ 0.75%), Pickup Perfect Drop-off Rate (≥ 85%).
- Compliance/Safety: Ensures adherence to company standards for safety, proper food handling, sanitation, and productivity. Maintains regulatory compliance for food safety, USDA & COOL, and DOA. Executes product recalls and withdrawals, ensures safety programs are followed, and reports safety risks and incidents.
Qualifications
- Required Education: GED/High School Diploma
- Preferred Education: College Degree in related field
- Language: English
- Experience: 0-3 years supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Familiarity with grocery product categories, freshness standards, and store layout; strong attention to detail and order accuracy; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; prioritization and time management skills; clear and respectful communication; flexibility to adapt to changing order volume and customer needs; awareness of food safety, sanitation, and operational compliance standards.
