Job Summary

Aids the department manager in achieving sales and operational goals for in-store online operations by accurately selecting, scanning, and staging online orders according to Amazon's standards.

Responsibilities

• % Of Time:
  • Service: Accurately selects, scans, and stages online orders using handheld devices, ensuring product quality, freshness, and order completeness.
  • Follows substitution guidelines and freshness standards to maintain a positive customer experience, resolving issues promptly.
  • Creates an environment that fosters customer satisfaction and ensures a quality shopping experience.
• Leadership: Promotes trust and respect among associates through collaboration, team-building, and communication of company and departmental information.
• Financial: Supports performance standards by maintaining key operational metrics, including: INF Rate, Substitution Attempt Rate, Late Slam Rate, Confirmed vs Requested Rate, Available vs Confirmed Rate, Item Missing Rate, Item Quality Rate, Pickup Perfect Drop-off Rate.
• Compliance/Safety: Ensures adherence to company standards for safety, proper food handling, sanitation, and productivity. Maintains compliance with regulatory requirements and executes product recalls and withdrawals.
• Compliance/Safety: Reinforces safety programs by complying with safety procedures, identifying unsafe conditions, reporting incidents, and ensuring equipment is in good repair.

Qualifications

• Education: GED/High School Diploma preferred, but not required.
• Language: English required, Spanish preferred.
• Experience: 0-3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Familiarity with grocery product categories, freshness standards, and store layout; strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize and manage time effectively; clear communication; flexibility to adapt to changing needs; knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and operational compliance.
