About the role

The Online Hotel Reservations Specialist will be responsible for managing customer inquiries and reservations through various channels including email, phone, and social media. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries and reservations via email, phone, and social media
  • Process and confirm reservations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies
  • Respond promptly to customer queries and complaints, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor
  • Update and maintain customer records in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, customer service, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer service or reservations role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel

Qualifications

  • Experience with hotel reservation systems and CRM software
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and industry standards
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Fluency in English
