Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure that center staff are appropriately deployed and that staffing ratios comply with the service plan.
  • Coverage plans for office closures and outages.
  • Maintain agreements (MOUs & MOAs) with partners in the region.
  • Establish and maintain monthly and quarterly reports to ensure the timely and accurate flow of information.
  • Facilitate travel through the assigned area.
  • Aid in scheduling and delivering One-Stop Partner meetings.

  • Communicate facility and partner needs to Eckerd manager and funder contacts.
  • Assist in establishing linkages with other community service-related agencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services, counseling, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Two or more years of relevant work experience. Previous experience working with the target population is preferred.
  • Experience with social services in the community, particularly in workforce, employment and training.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, database tracking systems.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

  • Hourly Rate: $26.00

Schedule

  • Part-Time up to 29 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Must successfully pass a background screening process, including, but not limited to, state, local, and funder criminal background check requirements.
  • Must pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  • Must have appropriate and valid state driver’s license and be able to meet requirements for Eckerd’s Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes.

  • The environment is an open office/classroom type facility that is reasonably clean and comfortable.
  • Regional travel up to 50% of the time.
  • In the course of performing this position the incumbent spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 20 pounds), carrying, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling and reaching.

Eckerd Connects provides Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services through contracts with the U.S. Department of Labor and local workforce boards, partnerships, and strategies to provide and create a career pathway for youth, adults, and dislocated workers. Training services include occupational skills training, customized training, on-the-job training, incumbent worker training, and transitional employment opportunities. We provide youth with development, academic instruction, career & technical education, and access to the 14 WIOA Youth Elements. We establish and develop relationships and networks with large and small employers and their intermediaries as well as develop, convene, or implement industry or sector partnerships.
