Oncology Sales Specialist - Seattle South, WA
About the role
Join our Oncology Sales organization and grow your career with a team driven to make an impact on cancer patients. This field-based sales position covers the Seattle South, Washington territory, including Anchorage, Fairbanks, Tacoma, Vancouver, and Olympia. You will engage with customers to address their needs, educate stakeholders about our oncology products, and work to achieve or exceed sales goals. Travel is required (~25% of the time), including overnight stays for customer visits and national sales meetings.
Responsibilities
- Attain or exceed assigned sales goals for the territory in collaboration with team members.
- Ensure customers have a seamless experience with our company, meeting key stakeholders to understand practice structures, business models, and key influencers while building trust.
- Use approved resources and messaging to communicate a compelling, patient-centered rationale for our oncology products.
- Understand the workings of extended care teams, cancer staging, treatment options, pathways, and guidelines, recognizing their impact on patients.
- Analyze trends in a complex buying environment, including multiple drug distribution channels (e.g., group purchasing organizations, wholesalers, specialty pharmacies).
- Review and evaluate patterns for product purchases and prescriptions (e.g., outpatient vs. in-patient infusion, hospital or GPO contracts).
- Develop and execute short- and long-term plans for complex accounts in collaboration with the local team and district manager.
- Ask insightful questions to understand customer priorities and support engaging conversations about the product portfolio.
- Ensure a consistent customer experience across the company’s divisions and share key learnings with the customer team (e.g., Customer Team Leader, Key Account Manager, Nurse Educator, Field Reimbursement Associate).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of sales experience or a high school diploma with at least 10 years of equivalent experience (e.g., healthcare/scientific field, oncology preferred; pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, marketing, or military experience).
- 2+ years of oncology field-based experience selling oncology therapeutics to oncology customers.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a vehicle.
- Willingness to travel (~25% of the time), including overnight travel (10–15%).
- Reside in or within a reasonable distance to the Seattle South, Washington territory.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Oncology field sales or clinical oncology experience.
- Candidates with less than 2 years of oncology field sales experience may be considered for the S2 Oncology Sales Representative level.
- Candidates with 2+ years of oncology field sales experience may be considered for the S3 Oncology Sales Specialist level.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $156,900.00 – $247,000.00. An employee’s position within the range will be based on factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs. The successful candidate will also be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
